Join the LMB Academy team as a baseball skills instructor for our Homeschool & Charter Program. We're looking for passionate coaches who love developing young athletes.

Baseball Skills Instructor — Private Lessons
Contract / Per SessionDeliver 1-on-1 private baseball instruction to homeschool students. Flexible scheduling. All specialties welcome.
Group Class Instructor
Contract / Per SessionLead small-group skills classes (6–8 students) for foundational, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Hitting Specialist
Contract / Per SessionSpecialize in hitting mechanics, stance, swing path, and contact drills for all age groups.
Pitching Development Coach
Contract / Per SessionFocus on pitching mechanics, velocity development, command, and off-speed pitch instruction.
California Law Requirements
Required Certifications
All instructors working with minors in California must meet the following requirements. We will assist candidates in completing any outstanding items.
LiveScan Fingerprinting
Required by California law for all adults working with minors. Must be completed before first session.
Mandated Reporter Training
AB 1432 requires all school employees and contractors working with minors to complete mandated reporter training.
CPR / First Aid Certification
Current CPR and First Aid certification required. Must be renewed every 2 years.
TB Risk Assessment
California Education Code requires TB risk assessment or test for all school employees and contractors.
Heads Up Concussion Training
CDC Heads Up concussion awareness training required for all youth sports coaches.
SafeSport Training
Recommended for all coaches working with youth athletes. Covers abuse prevention and safe sport practices.
